Leaves That Are Green Get Garfunkel In Trouble Again
Tuesday August 30, 2005
For the second time in less than two years, Art Garfunkel has been charged with marijuana possession. On Sunday (August 28) a state trooper pulled Garfunkel over for an alleged traffic violation. According to the police report, the trooper smelled pot, then found a joint in the car's ashtray. In January 2004, the singer was charged with misdemeanor pot possession after the limo in which he was a passenger was stopped for speeding in the same area of upstate New York -- near Woodstock -- as Sunday's bust. Garfunkel, who has a September 22 court date, will be on tour the first few months of next year.See Art Garfunkel's tour schedule
