Tour Tidbits

On the heels of its May reunion concerts at London's Royal Albert Hall, Cream has announced a three-day engagement at New York's Madison Square Garden, October 24-26. Not coincidentally, a CD/DVD set of highlights from those London performances will be released by Rhino Home Video on October 4.

Pearl Jam, currently touring North America and opening for some of the Rolling Stones tour stops, has confirmed eight dates in Mexico and South America in November and December. Pearl Jam's next album is expected early next year.

Depeche Mode has scheduled a 22-date North American tour from October through December. The group's new album, Playing the Angel is due for release on October 18. Depeche Mode's 2006 European tour begins in January.

Quite a few Classic Rockers are on this week's Pollstar Top 50 highest grossing concerts.
