The Band: All History, No Future

With the September 27 release of the Capitol Records boxed set, A Musical History, The Band will officially reach the end of a storied career ... for now. Founding member Robbie Robertson tells Billboard, "I keep saying, 'Now I'm done with the Band.' I'm just not keen to be going back up into the attic and going into the trunks. I'm more interested in tomorrow." Robertson's 'tomorrow' may include a book about The Band, but he says he has never considered a reunion with the group's other surviving members.
