Genesis Will Tour In 2007
Tony Banks, Phil Collins and Mike Rutherford will hit the road in June for the first Genesis tour since 1991. The long rumored reunion will begin with a 20-stadium tour of Europe, followed by a series of 20 dates in September in the US.
Rutherford and Banks are founding members of the band, which formed in 1967. Collins joined in 1970. Founding member Peter Gabriel, who left in 1975 for a solo career, willl not be participating in the tour.
The opening leg of the "Turn It On Again" tour begins June 11 in Helsinki, Finland and ends with a free concert at Rome's Colosseum on July 14.

I heard that this was a possibility over a year ago and I can’t wait for it to happen. HOWEVER, I could care less if Peter Gabriel is in it or not. I feel Phil was a MUCH better vocal lead for the group! He’s the main reason I will not miss this tour (if it happens).
You have no idea what your talking about regarding Gabriel’s participation.
pauloz57, before you get too critical, please take note that what you responded to on November 27, 2006 was written more than a year earlier, on November 10, 2005. The information was current at that time. So, respectfully, I did, in fact, have a very good idea of what I was talking about when the post was written.
