The Who's Pete Townshend blames years of using headphones at high volume in the recording studio for permanently damaging his hearing. Now he is warning iPod users to keep the volume down unless they want to suffer a similar fate. Writing in his blog, Pete's Diaries, Townshend warns, "If you use an iPod or anything like it, or your child uses one, you MAY be OK. But my intuition tells me there is terrible trouble ahead."
