Never Too Old To Boogie
Organizers of the Rolling Stones' halftime show at the Super Bowl (February 5) have reversed field. The NFL is offering 2,000 people the chance to run onto the field to sing, dance, and cheer during the Stones' performance. Show organizers originally said that the demands were too "physically challenging" for anyone over the age of 45. They have now lifted that age restriction.
Staying Power
The Stones, whose first live performance was in 1961, are #1 on Pollstar's list of the Top 20 Touring Artists of 2005. Other Classic Rockers who made the list are Paul McCartney, Eagles, Elton John, Bruce Springsteen, and Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers. Read more ...
