Gentlemen, Start Your iPods
I suppose now we'll be seeing a checkered flag painted on the face of KISS's Gene Simmons. He is currently wagging his tongue to promote the Indy Racing League (IRL) in a campaign that the IRL hopes will get more people interested in auto racing. So far, Simmons' participation consists of a little ditty titled "I Am Indy" (Listen/Download) but he says there will eventually be a clothing line involved, too. The IRL's showpiece is the Indianapolis 500.
KISS and Tell
It worked well enough for Ozzy and Sharon, so why not Gene and Shannon? A&E tells the Television Critics Association's winter press tour that the cable network will air an Osbournesque documentary/soap opera series titled "Gene Simmons' Family Jewels" sometime this year. The show will feature the family life of the KISS frontman, his significant other, Shannon Tweed, and their two children. The idea for the show grew out of an A&E Biography special on Simmons.
