Nine Times Out Of Ten, It's Eleven
Monday January 30, 2006
Bill Graham moved to San Francisco in 1961 and proceeded to permanently alter the face of rock music. Graham owned the famous Fillmore West and Winterland concert venues and used them to launch acts like Grateful Dead, Janis Joplin, Jefferson Airplane and Steve Miller Band to superstardom. Graham died in 1991, but artists like Jackson Browne, Bonnie Raitt and Carlos Santana spent the weekend paying tribute. Jambase has the full story of the 40th Anniversary of the Fillmore Acid Tests.
