Review: Velvet Underground "Velvet Redux: Live MCMXCII" DVD

Sunday February 19, 2006
Say what you will about Velvet Underground, the band broke some serious ground in experimental rock in the late '60s and early '70s. They may not have a long discography or a fortune in royalties (though they do have a place in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame) but their influence on everything from punk to noise rock is legend. In a sense, VU pays tribute to itself with Velvet Redux: Live MCMXCII. Here's your Guide's review of some of the last live performances by Velvet Underground.
