Pink Floyd, Two By Two

Thursday February 23, 2006
Okay, this is starting to get a little strange. David Gilmour insists there will never be another reunion of Pink Floyd's surviving original members, and that he wants to move on. He has a new album and a sold out European tour coming up in March. He'll be joined on stage by Floyd keyboardist Richard Wright.

Meanwhile, Roger Waters will be joined by Floyd drummer Nick Mason to perform 1973's Dark Side of the Moon album in its entirety somewhere in France this summer. Details are to be announced in a February 27 webcast.

The feud between Waters and Gilmour over who had the right to use the band's name after it broke up (Gilmour won) is long since over, but it appears more and more certain that the band's reunion at last summer's Live 8 London concert is the last we'll see in the forseeable future.
