The ex-Van Halen rocker replaced Howard Stern in New York, Boston, Dallas, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Cleveland, and West Palm Beach when Stern blasted off to satellite radio. In January (the first full month of the new show) Roth attracted 1.3% of listeners in the target audience of listeners between the ages of 18 and 34, compared to the 13.8% that tuned in when Stern was hosting.
