CD Review: Cheap Trick - Dream Police
With Cheap Trick set to release a new studio album this summer, two of the band’s early albums have been remastered and reissued. The new Dream Police and All Stirred Up CDs contain bonus tracks of previously unreleased material, mostly live versions and alternate takes of the studio tracks.
Dream Police, the group’s fourth studio album was released in 1979, eventually reaching #6 on the Billboard album chart in the U.S. They followed up the next year with All Shook Up, which was produced by Beatles producer George Martin.
Now we'll turn the keyboard over to John Owen for his Blogcritics review of Cheap Trick’s Dream Police.
