Concert Review: Allman Brothers Band
Thursday March 16, 2006
Among the Allman Brothers' many accomplishments was being the first Southern Rock band to be inducted (1995) into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Another is their longevity. In spite of a couple of noisy breakups, the group is still active, earning GRAMMY nominations as recently as 2004 and continuing to tour some 35 years since the band was formed. The Allman Brothers are now bringing Southern Rock to New York’s Upper West Side. Here’s Ben Ratliff’s New York Times review of the Allman Brothers in concert.

In my opinion, one of the top 5 bands ever.
Lots of respect for good music, inspiring for overcoming adversities and geniuses for a great style variety. Keep on rockin’!
