An announcement on the Van Halen Web site confirms that Eddie, Alex and Wolfgang (Eddie's son) Van Halen and David Lee Roth will carry the VH banner on the road for a 40-date North American summer tour.
The band last toured -- with Sammy Hagar -- in 2004, some 20 years after their last tour in which Roth participated.
Tour dates and locations have not yet been announced.

This should be good . These were the best years of VH . Should be interesting to see if Roth can keep his super bowl size ego in check to produce the music that Van Halen became famous for . Running with Devillllllllllllllllllll!!!!!!
How much are the tickets? Are they playing NYC?
Tour schedule/ticket info will be posted here as soon as it’s available.

I sincerely hope DLR is not a letdown on the tour.
I love the old line up & caught them on the Women & Children First tour in the UK.
I like both Dave & Sammy singing for VH, but prefer Dave with VH & Sammy playing his own stuff, mixed with VH!
If Diamond Dave’s voice is up to it, it’ll be good, but can Wolfie survive a 40 Date tour with the band as well ….?
Last time I saw the DLR Band, it was pretty much the VH full set, plus Yankee Rose of his own.
He struggled to be honest & that was a couple of years back now.
Hope he can do it …..
Hope Eddie stays off the sauce too!
Oh & I sincerely hope ticket prices are more reasonable than they were with Sammy since this ISN’T fully VH1 Classic line up, Mike’s not there ….
We’ll see, but somehow I think Eddie will milk it for all he can, in which case unless he gets a good support act / special guest, ticket sales may be disappointing ….
