Dave's Classic Rock BlogBrad Delp's Death Ruled Suicide
The New Hampshire medical examiner's office has ruled, and his family confirms, that Boston's lead singer, Brad Delp, took his own life at his home last week (March 9.) Carbon monoxide poisoning was the cause of death.
Delp left several suicide notes. In one of them, he described himself as "a lonely soul" who had "lost my desire to live." Delp, who was 55, distinguished himself with his strong tenor lead on songs like "More Than A Feeling" and "Rock and Roll Band." In addition to performing with Boston, he was also a member of the Beatles tribute band, Beatle Juice.
