Witness to Woodstock

In August 1969 Iris Shapiro was a teenager, living at her family's home on Long Island, attending community college, working in a factory. She and three friends thought it would be fun to take a road trip to upstate New York to check out something that was being promoted as the Woodstock Music and Art Fair. Little did she know that she would be helping to make history.
These are her memories of being a Witness to Woodstock.
