Watch the Music Play

Macca and the Mothership
Paul McCartney has been making music for so long, it takes three DVDs to document The McCartney Years.

Said documentation includes solo videos, performances, plus McCartney's comments and some of his own footage -- much of it being released for the first time -- from his four decades of making music.

You'd like a sample, you say? Some Wings (at the speed of sound) perhaps?

And, like much of the rest if the free world, Macca's on YouTube with more samples.

Led Zeppelin is also using social networking (among many other means) to tease the upcoming release of the Mothership collection, a two-CD career retrospective.

They're currently featuring some vintage Zep performance footage in their space on MySpace.

Both The McCartney Years and Mothership have a November 13 release date.
