Blues Rock 101

Rock is and always has been a hybrid -- a combination of influences from a wide range of musical styles. Arguably, no other genre has had as much lasting influence on rock bands and artists as the Blues.

Blues Rock can also be described as "Electrified Blues" and its practitioners have included some of the most accomplished electric guitarists: Stevie Ray Vaughan, Buddy Guy, Eric Clapton, to name but a few of the best known.
