I Kid You Not

Kid Rock is going on tour soon, in some pretty high powered company.

The Rock and Roll Revival Tour (30 US shows January 25 - March 22) will feature the talents of Dicky Betts (Allman Brothers), Peter Wolf (J. Geils Band) and Reverend Run (Run D.M.C.).

Now understand, these guys will not be opening acts. They'll be performing with Kid Rock, on the same stage at the same time.

Here's the full tour schedule.

Scorsese and the Stones

Martin Scorsese's Shine A Light, documenting the Rolling Stones' 2006 tour, will debut at the Berlin International Film Festival on February 7.

The director had plenty to work with. During two concerts at New York City's Beacon Theater, Scorsese shot more than 500,000 feet of film. The concerts included guest performances by Buddy Guy, Jack White (White Stripes) and Christina Aguilera.

The film is due to be released in the US on April 4.

Bad Blood in Boston

It was bad enough that Brad Delp died, worse that he took his own life. Now the tragedy continues, in a courtroom.

Boston founder Tom Scholz claims that he was defamed by Delp's ex-wife and the wife of the band's guitarist when they suggested that he precipitated Delp's suicide, and raised questions about his charitable foundation. Scholz's lawsuit claims that Micki Delp and Connie Goudreau used newspaper interviews, online chat rooms and a fake Web site to besmirch his character.

You have to wonder what Scholz hopes to gain, besides monetary damages. The suit certainly isn't doing anything to generate positive PR or to stop the deteriorating relationships among various members of the band.
