Eric Clapton and Steve Winwood are woven so tightly into the fabric of classic rock, the formality of full names seems pointless.

So, when Winwood and Clapton took the stage at Madison Square Garden this week, expectations were high. No worries. Reviewer Jim Smith says those expectations were met, and then some.
