Classified as everything from progressive rock to power pop, Electric Light Orchestra cranked out 11 studio albums between the early 70s and mid 80s, all marked by a distinctive blend of classical and rock.
The last original release from ELO was in 2001, and the one before that was in 1986. So, their latest release - a compilation of remastered, pre-1973 tracks - has whetted Alun Williams' appetite for some new ELO.
