Dave's Classic Rock BlogELO Punches Your Ticket to the Moon AgainClassified as everything from progressive rock to power pop, Electric Light Orchestra cranked out 11 studio albums between the early 70s and mid 80s, all marked by a distinctive blend of classical and rock. The last original release from ELO was in 2001, and the one before that was in 1986. So, their latest release - a compilation of remastered, pre-1973 tracks - has whetted Alun Williams' appetite for some new ELO.
