Whitesnake Turns 30 with New Album and Tour
It has been 11 years since Whitesnake released a new studio album. Now, on the occasion of the band's 30th anniversary, the release of Good To Be Bad coincides with a European tour and the return of founding front man David Coverdale.
Their particular brand of bluesy hard rock is evident in Whitesnake's new release and, according to reviewer Alun Williams, so are the band's trademark guitar riffs (and homage to Led Zeppelin.)

Comments
I saw Whitesnake opening for Iron Maiden and Judas Priest many years ago. This was back when Whitesnake was at their bluesy best. I hope their new album does indeed show them going back to their pre-Tawny Kitaen roots.
Well Fred, I can’t say it’s completely bluesy – ala Pre-1987 album – but there’s say 3 tracks that are heavily in the mode of say Slide It In / Saints & Sinners / Ready & Willin’.
It really captures all aspects of what he’s (Coverdale) been through with his various backing bands over the years.
It’s a good all rounder with something for everyone, generally.
Thanks for checking the review out, hope if you buy it, you enjoy it!
