Interview: Rich Williams, Kansas
Kansas (the band, not the state) is marking the 30th anniversary of the release of the double live album Two For The Show with the release of a two-CD set which includes that album, plus another 10 previously unreleased live performances that were recorded during the band's 1977-78 tour.
Ever since the release of the band's debut album in 1974, Rich Williams has been the Kansas lead guitarist. He is still with the band today, maintaining a full time tour schedule in the US and abroad.
During a brief break between the European and US legs of the group's current tour, I chatted with Williams about his life with one of rock's venerable institutions: Kansas.
