• 1972 - Berry Oakley (Allman Brothers) dies in a motorcycle accident, a few blocks away from the location of Duane Allman's fatal motorcyle accident a year earlier
• 2007 - John Peterson (Beau Brummels, Harper's Bizarre) dies of a heart attack at age 62
