Joel, John: Together Again
The theory holds that when you find a winning formula, stick with it. In 1994, and again in 2003, Billy Joel and Elton John found that they could gross seven figures per show performing together. So it make sense that they are going to do it again in 2009.
Sir Elton, on ABC's The View, said this tour could last as long as two years, beginning with a handful of dates in March and May. A confirmed schedule is expected shortly.
Like the 2003 tour, this new series of arena shows will feature the artists performing individually and together. Ticket prices are expected to be similar as well, just south of $200 for the best seats.
