Jon Anderson is performing again after being sidelined for more than a year with health problems. In a decidedly upbeat announcement on his Facebook page, Anderson says, "I'm ready" as he announces a one solo show per week schedule in Europe the next few weeks, with some east coast U.S. dates in late August. He says he's feeling "more healthy every day" and hints that he might even be ready to resume lead vocalist duties with Yes.
Bob Weir is sandwiching in some dates with his band, RatDog between gigs with his former Grateful Dead band mates. The day after The Dead play the Rothbury festival in Michigan, Weir and RatDog hit the road, continuing a summer tour tradition that began in 1995, the year that Jerry Garcia (and Grateful Dead) died. Pretenders are adding North American dates to their "Concrete" tour, which is currently on a successful swing through Europe. Pretenders' 2008 release, Break Up The Concrete peaked at #2 on the U.S. indie chart. Pretenders tour schedule
