• 1970 - Open for business: Jimi Hendrix's Electric Ladyland Studios, in New York; world debut: Emerson Lake & Palmer, in Plymouth, England• 1973 - Butch Trucks (Allman Brothers Band) is injured in a wreck in Macon, Georgia within sight of the spot where Duane Allman had died in a crash two years earlier
• 1976 - Boston's self-titled first album is released - it will become the best selling debut rock album ever
• 1979 - "My Sharona" (The Knack) reaches #1 on the U.S. chart and stays there for next six weeks
• 1994 - Jimmy Page and Robert Plant (Led Zeppelin) reunite to tape Unledded for MTV
