Christmas In The Heart album cover About That Dylan Christmas Album
We're getting some details from Columbia Records about an upcoming Christmas album from Bob Dylan. Christmas In The Heart will be released October 13, and Dylan will donate his share of the royalties to Feeding America. We'll hear the unconventional artist doing conventional songs like "Here Comes Santa Claus," "Winter Wonderland," "Little Drummer Boy" and "Must Be Santa."

Back at Bat
Meat Loaf Meat Loaf certainly isn't the first artist to go into, then come out of, retirement, but he is the latest. After health issues prompted him to abruptly end his 2007 tour, declaring he had played his last gig, Mr. Loaf is now working on a new album that is expected to be released some time in 2010. According to Billboard, Meat also has a couple of acting roles and a Rock and Roll Fantasy camp gig coming up.

Iggy, Moby, Coop - Suck
A few years ago it was dinosaurs. Now it seems that vampires are the next big thing. The newest entry in a recent parade of vampire movies is Suck, in which Iggy Pop, Alice Cooper and Moby portray "rock 'n' roll wannabes in search of immortality and a record deal" who are pursued by mythical vampire hunter Eddie Van Helsing. Here's the trailer for this fang-in-cheek spoof.

New Album = New Tour
Universal truth: when a new album is released, a tour must surely follow. Their new album, Sonic Boom will be released October 6. The obligatory tour begins September 25, with two dates in Detroit. They'll play 41 dates through early December. Here's the KISS tour schedule.
