Few classic rockers have been working continuously for as long as Eric Clapton and Roger Daltrey, and few are better known. From their ages (Daltrey just turned 66, Clapton will soon be 65) to their upbringing (British working class) to their careers (card-carrying rock star) there are many similarities between the two. But there are differences, too.
Daltrey and Clapton recently wrapped up a series of concert dates which found Daltrey in a role he hasn't played for more than 45 years: opening act for another artist. At a March 10 performance in Florida, Daltrey acknowledged the irony good-naturedly and Clapton was, well, Clapton. Reviewer Jim Smith takes it from here.

Comments
Clapton is born 1945, not 1944 as Daltrey!
Good catch. Thanks!
I’m always looking for more live Clapton, thanks for sharing.
