What is it about these guys? ZZ Top. I mean, here they are, at an age when any of the rest of us would be contemplating the joys of a quiet retirement, and what are they doing? Getting ready for their next tour and releasing a new album. Oh, and did I mention that these same three guys have been doing this non-stop for over 40 years?
Maybe it's that work ethic has something to do with their success. Well, that plus their musicianship, showmanship, and strong bond with a worldwide fan base. They've also managed to reinvent themselves as needed over the past four decades, while still managing to be just "that little ol' band from Texas." Yeah, all that stuff. That must be it.
