Unless I'm at a concert, I'm almost always doing something else while I listen to music: driving, working, shaving. But sometimes, you just have to stop and pay attention.
Such is the case with this week's (10/9) release of
The Who: Live in Texas '75, with digitally restored video and re-mixed audio. The concert came from one of the first North American dates on the band's
The Who By The Numbers tour, at a time when they had honed their live performances skills over the previous 11 years since their formation.
You need to watch this. But don't try and do it while you're doing something else. Trust me. It won't work. I tried.

Keith Moon died 1978 not 1979 and John Entwhistele died 2002 not 1982!
You are, of course, correct on both counts, and correction has been made. I can claim typo on Moon but not for being off 20 years on Entwistle. I’m guessing my mind was wandering. Thanks for the heads up. As always, I’m glad somebody around here is paying attention!
