Springsteen performed on the GRAMMY Awards show in 2012
Photo by Kevin Winter / Getty Images Bruce Springsteen finds himself in a familiar position this week: multiple GRAMMY Award nominations. Springsteen's Wrecking Ball raised more than a few eyebrows with what a Rolling Stone review called its "despairing, confrontational and musically turbulent" style. Regardless, you will hear Springsteen's name following the words, "the nominees are" three times, if you watch the GRAMMY Awards telecast (2/10, 8PM Eastern, CBS) on Sunday. "We Take Care of Our Own" is nominated for Best Rock Song and Best Rock Performance, while the album is up for Best Rock Album. Just as being nominated for GRAMMY Awards is familiar territory for Springsteen, so is winning them. He has a career total of 20 GRAMMY wins.
