Bad Co., Inc.
Bad Company is reuniting.
But wait! There's more! (Or maybe there's less in this case.)
It's only for one gig -- August 8 in Hollywood, Florida. And its main purpose has to do with the business side of the Company -- to keep another group from touring using the Bad Company name (something which has been rumored to be in the works.)
Lead vocalist Paul Rodgers tells Billboard, "By doing this one-night stand with Bad Company, we will be cementing our right to the trademark 'Bad Company' for touring."
Two other original members of the band -- drummer Simon Kirke and guitarist Mick Ralphs -- will be there, along with bassist Lynn Sorenson, who plays in Rodgers' tour band. Original bassist Boz Burrell died in 2006.
The band's last reunion was for a tour in 1999, but Rodgers keeps busy these days with his solo career and working with Queen, so the key words here are "one time only."

Hi Dave,
Bad Co., a great band in almost all shapes & forms …. & yes, there’s been more than a few versions as most fans of the band will know.
The band that Paul Rodgers is trying to kick into touch ironically, includes a certain Mick Ralphs & has included Simon Kirke!
Here’s the details / info that is being posted in the UK of the band in question XCOM:
The line up is Mick Ralphs, Dave (Bucket) Colwell, Robert Hart, Jaz Lochrie and (guest drummer) Harry James from Thunder. This, with the exception of Harry James, is the exact same Bad Company of 1996 who performed two very successful world tours in conjunction with several chart topping albums …
They will actually be playing in the UK on Sat. 19th July @ Cambridge Rock Festival:

What can you say ….?
Interesting!
Cheers,
Alun
Wonder how Mick Ralphs, whose fear of flying is well documented, is going to get over here. Methinks the QEII will be to his liking…he’d better start boarding now!
Can’t wait.
We have 1st row for the hard Rock show…
