Formed in 1962 and still active today, the Rolling Stones have become, by most any standard you care to apply, iconic. From their beginnings as a blues cover band, the Stones have continued to build on a career that took off during the British Invasion. During a two-year sold-out world tour (2005-2007) the band continued to demonstrate why it has dominated rock for almost 50 years.
Mick Jagger and Keith Richards have been with the band since its formation. Charlie Watts joined in 1963, Ronnie Wood in 1975.
