Garfunkel has a dozen albums to his credit as a solo artist, including a 1986 Christmas album with Amy Grant. He has appeared in five feature films and in recent years has been arrested twice on marijuana possesion charges.
Garfunkel's voice was a perfect match for Simon's songwriting, but their long association was ultimately ended by creative and personal differences.
