First album to be comprised entirely of original Lennon-McCartney songs. The title was based on a remark made by Ringo during a radio interview.

      Best known for its unusual lyrical and chord structure
4. "I'm Happy Just to Dance with You" (Lennon-McCartney)
      Written by Lennon, sung by Harrison
5. "And I Love Her" (Lennon-McCartney)
      Reached #12 in the US as a single
6. "Tell Me Why" (Lennon-McCartney)
      According to Lennon, lyrics were about children whose parents divorce
7. "Can't Buy Me Love" (Lennon-McCartney)
      Their third consecutive US #1 single

Side Two
1. "Any Time at All" (Lennon-McCartney)
      One of the songs not in the film, written to fill out the B-side of the album
2. "I'll Cry Instead" (Lennon-McCartney)
      Originally intended to be in the film, it was replaced by "Can't Buy Me Love"
3. "Things We Said Today" (Lennon-McCartney)
      Written by McCartney, about time spent away from his girlfriend
4. "When I Get Home" (Lennon-McCartney)
      Lennon's lyrics about going home to his girlfriend
5. "You Can't Do That" (Lennon-McCartney)
      Originally appeared on the US release, The Beatles' Second Album
6. "I'll Be Back" (Lennon-McCartney)
      Released in the US on Beatles 65

On the US version, all of the songs on side two except "I'll Cry Instead" were replaced with instrumental versions (by producer George Martin) of "A Hard Day's Night," "And I Love Her," "I Should Have Known Better" and "Ringo's Theme (This Boy)".
