Super Bowl XLIV February 7, 2010

By , About.com Guide

In recent years, classic rock has dominated the Super Bowl halftime show. The tradition continued at Super Bowl XLIV on February 7, 2010 with The Who.

Packed into a 12-minute segment was a medley that included iconic standards "Pinball Wizard," "Baba O'Riley," "Who Are You," "See Me, Feel Me" and "Won't Get Fooled Again."

Original members Roger Daltrey (vocals) and Pete Townshend (lead guitar) were backed by Zak Starkey (drums), Simon Townshend (rhythm guitar) Pino Palladino (bass) and "Rabbit" Bundrick (keyboard) for the performance, which was punctuated by pyrotechnics and a nearly continuous light show
