ZZ Top

From Dave White, About.com

ZZ Top formed in 1969 after Billy Gibbons' psychedelic blues band, Moving Sidewalks, disbanded. He got together with Dusty Hill and Frank Beard from the group American Blues to form a new group. The band has remained active, with its original members, ever since. They have released 19 albums, been the subject of 15 books, and were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2004.
