Preview: Cat Stevens

As Cat Stevens, he released a dozen studio albums between 1966 and 1978 that have generated sales of more than 40-million. His albums tended to have eclectic titles like Mona Bone Jakon, Tea For the Tillerman, Teaser and the Firecat, Catch Bull At Four and Bhudda and the Chocolate Box.

As Yusuf Islam, the name he assumed after he converted to Islam, he has recorded four albums, with names like A Is for Allah and Prayers of the Last Prophet.

The newly released two-CD set, Gold contains 31 of Stevens' most recognizable songs, all digitally remastered. Also featured is "Indian Ocean," which Islam wrote and recorded in 2005 to raise money for tsunami relief. It was previously available via digital download.
