BBC Remembers Lennon

The 25th anniversary of John Lennon's death is fast approaching (December 8) and the main radio service in his homeland is planning to note it in a big way. A week of Lennon Remembered broadcasts on the BBC will include the 1970 interview in which Lennon described Paul McCartney as "form and no substance" as well as the one in which he said of the Beatles, "We're more popular than Jesus now." New interviews with Yoko Ono and Cynthia Lennon will be broadcast, along with vintage performances. Here's your guide to hearing the BBC's Lennon Remembered broadcasts.

All BBC programs can be heard live online, and are available online for seven days after the initial broadcast.

Additionally, the "Lennon Night" broadcast on Thursday, December 8 will be carried on Sirius Satellite Radio.
