Los Lobos. The Wolves. They’re a little bit blues, a little bit folk, a little bit Tex-Mex, and a whole lotta rock ‘n’ roll. Since its formation in the late ‘70s, Los Lobos has successfully blended elements of an eclectic mix of musical styles.

They started out interpreting Mexican folk music, then went on to fuse a unique variety of sounds, influenced heavily by roots rock. Shortly after gaining critical acclaim, commercial success followed. Los Lobos are three-time GRAMMY winners.

The group's first single-disc hits collection, Wolf Tracks: The Very Best of Los Lobos contains 20 tracks covering nearly two decades. There’s also a previously unreleased track, "Border Town Girl."

The band’s longtime lineup includes

  • David Hidalgo - vocals/guitar/accordion
