Well, it really should be renamed the Rock & "Pap" Hall of Fame Awards, as there have been so many far removed from Rock acts added there over the years, that quite frankly are nothing more than Pap! Many rock artists of course don't even want to be associated with it anymore, as it's become so laughable. Respectfully, yes, Genesis & Kiss should be recognized and to be honest The Hollies weren't that bad ..., also it's agreed, the calls for the likes of the Moody Blues goes right along with many for Canadian act Rush. Shame on those that run the whole event, as it's seriously become almost disrespectful to those already in there that Rap and Hip Hop acts are even being mentioned alongside serious legends in there. Shameful!

It isn't about Rock with the R & R HOF. Nice to see Genesis nominated and I understand Kiss, but no Jethro Tull, Moody Blues, Yes or Emerson, Lake & Palmer. Is Deep Purple in? If not they should be. I agree that Leon Russell would be a better fit than L. L. Cool J. Please!

Abba-that's always the first band I think of when rock'n'roll is mentioned. What a joke! Still no Mitch Ryder, Gary U.S. Bonds, or J.Geils Band. How can any real music fan take the whole Rock and Roll Hall of Fame thing seriously?

Simply this, the fact that R&R Hall of Shame has left Leon Russell out ONCE AGAIN, smacks of something wrong at the top. A quick glance at his compendium of work, solo, with many of the current members of the Hall, along with his producing, arranging, writing, and lest we forget, a huge compendium of his studio work, makes his place in your hallowed hall WAY OVERDUE!
