Journey Keyboardist's Life Shaped By Tragedy

On December 1, 1958 a fire at Chicago's Our Lady of the Angels elementary school killed 92 students and three teachers. Jonathan Cain, age 8, was one of the survivors. Today, Cain, keyboardist for Journey, says that tragedy was a major influence on his life. In an interview published in The Huntsville Times Cain says, "It's been grounding for me to know I was spared from such a disaster that I guess I always was destined to do something good and to leave my mark."
