Poll: Who Should Be In The Rock Hall?
Wednesday March 8, 2006
Many are called but few are chosen for induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Some aren't even called, much to the chagrin of their stalwart fans. Some are nominated many times before being inducted. Some are inducted the first time they are nominated. In this week's About Classic Rock Poll, we're asking your opinion of bands and artists whose fans feel should be in the Rock Hall but aren't.

I would love to see Todd Rundgren inducted. Why? Because he has evolved and improved, continually worked for quality sound. This is a rarity, in this day and age. Once they’ve made it big, they often forget how they got there. He has become state of the art in every respect.
Should have been inducted already: The Zombies, Yes, Genesis, King Crimson, Kiss, Heart, Todd Rundgren, Jethro Tull, ELP, and even more commercial acts like Styx, Journey, Foreigner, Doobie Brothers, Ted Nugent and Kansas.
I would like to see Paul Revere and the Raiders featuring Mark Lindsay inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Leon Russel for all he’s done to music.
Definately Nirvana, for all Kurt,Krist, and Dave did to help the world of rock..they should definately be in the Rock Hall of Fame……
What i really don’t understand is….
how did people like Michael Jackson and Maddonna get into the ROCK hall of fame when they’re pop artists….?
but, seriously,Nirvana, and even bands like Pearl Jam and the Foo Fighters…..all should be in.
The (2) main ommisions to me are Three Dog Night (the biggest group of the early 70’s) and Paul Revere and the Raiders (huge group of the 60’s). Three Dog Night should have been in a long time ago and don’t say they didn’t write their own material because either did most of the groups that are in.
