What's Old Is News To Some
I'm a little amazed that some members of the "traditional" media (TV, newspapers) are all ga-ga over the fact that there are so many bloggers active at the Bonnaroo music festival. I guess it must be a slow news day. Or maybe they haven't seen all of the research that shows that people who use the Web consider it as important an information source as newspapers and TV and even more important than magazines, books, and radio.
Maybe it's just the heat. Nah, that can't be it. The press tent has all the free bottled water you care to drink, or pour over your head.
Perhaps we can gain enlightenment by looking at some of the blogging enabled by the wireless Internet connection provided by the same Bonnaroo organizers who were astute enough to issue all of those press credenials to bloggers. Blogging about other bloggers may seem a little like a photographer taking pictures of other photographers taking pictures, but I'll take that risk.
