Led Zep Together Again?
Oh, my. The goosebumps have barely disappeared from the various body parts of those gone gaga over December's Led Zeppelin reunion concert. And now there's an impending band meeting and hints about how "It could be fun to do more stuff."
We'll know soon enough whether the tantalizing tidbits dropped by Zep bassist John Paul Jones in a Rolling Stone interview will merely stoke the fires, or actually result in further resurrection.
Jones on legacy drummer Jason Bonham: "He's as fearless as his dad ... he did an amazing job, when you consider that he had to answer to every drummer in the world after that show."
On guitarist Jimmy Page: "He certainly hasn't lost anything. He's rock-ier ... in the rhythm parts, he throws things in that knock you out. He's matured but lost none of the excitement along the way."
And about what's next? "Before, it was 'We've got to wait and see 'til after the gig.' But we'll start talking to each other soon."
'Soon' is a January meeting at which band members will assess the December performance, and talk about future possibilities.
So, settle in, campers. The closing chapter of this story is a long way from being written.

Who will Led Zeppelin have as an opening act on their 2008 US tour???
The rumors have finally been silenced: Plant has personally tapped his illegitimate son’s band–MEAN VENUS–to open all 2008 shows.
MEAN VENUS’ lead singer, J, when recently interviewed by Rolling Stone magazine, spoke of his utter disbelief at the prospect:
“I only found out he [Plant] was my dad a few years ago.
My mum hid it from me for the majority of my life. So to actually be going on the road with my Dad is bloody outrageous!”.
I don’t think Robert Plant wants to do a full tour again from the way he acted when interviewed lately. I’m sure he wants to have something new to bring to the table. That’s why he’s into his new project and tour with Alison Krauss. But if they do tour again, I hope they pick me and my band THE JOHN DALY PROJECT to open up for them!
check them out – http://www.meanvenus.com i think he looks like bonham! their music is cool too!
That dude from mean venus aint opening for nobody. He died 6 months ago from a heroin overdose. Supposedly he was working with Axl at the 11th hour writing material for inclusion on Chinese Democracy. Guess he couldn’t handle playing with the big boys.
This is also supposedly one of the reasons that Plant isn’t doing the tour too. After this Krauss b.s. he is done. Really ashame the Zep guys can’t honor Plant’s decision and understand that losing your son to heroin is something that most people never emotionally come back from.
RIP J
MEAN VENUS ruled!!!
